Paul has been in the construction industry for over 3 decades. Paul began his career at Dealers Warehouse in 1987, a wholesale building products distributor in Knoxville, TN. After six years as a territory sales manager, Paul made the transition from selling building products to using them. He partnered with Lowell McDonald to establish McDonald-Cochran Construction in 1993 for the purpose of building residential homes. After several years in a successful partnership, Paul began Legacy Builders in 1999, building homes and developing subdivisions. In 2014, Paul and Lori restructured and renamed the company Cochran Construction, LLC. Today, he primarily designs and builds custom homes.

Paul and Lori Cochran are childhood friends, sweethearts and a happily married couple since 1988. Today their family also includes four children – Spencer, Maycie, Abbie, and Saxon. Knoxville is not only the birthplace of Paul and Lori but also where they have lived for their entire life. They jointly attended grade school, middle school, high school, and even the University of Tennessee. Now they are enjoying their growing family.
